The "Indonesia Impression" event itself was held at an open restaurant and theater located only about 50 meters from the WRI restaurant at the Langyuan Station complex, Chaoyang District, Beijing. Meanwhile, WRI only opened on March 9, 2024.

"So this event is also a promotional event for Indonesian citizens who just opened last March. This summer people usually go out, but later every'season' we will make another different event, then for August 7 there will also be an event," added Vini.

Vini said that with the enthusiasm and interaction of visitors at the "Indonesia Impression" event, he was optimistic that Indonesian food and culture could become known in Beijing.

"Here, visitors were able to try food, there was music and interacting, so everyone got it," said Vini.

One of the visitors, Abigail, a Beijing resident, admitted that he was happy and entertained by the event, including by shaking "Gemu Fa Mi Re".

"But it's really hot, it needs to be installed 'air conditioner'," said Abigail after shaking.

The event also featured a number of performers including the angklung game by Gamelan Arts teachers at Beijing's Central of Conservatory of Music (CCOM), Risnandar who performed the songs "Come on Mama" and "Mo Li Hua" (Bunga Melati) as well as the drums game that accompanied the dance of Manuk Dadali by his wife, Titik who is also a lecturer at CCOM.

There is also a gamelan game by the mothers of members of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of the Indonesian Embassy in Beijing, including Mrs. Wiwik Oratmangun, wife of Ambassador Djauhari Oratmangun, participated in the opening music of the pendet dance.

The appearance of the singer Abdi Purnomo who is also an Indonesian student in Beijing performed the songs "Ojo Dibandike" and "Rungkad" also managed to attract a number of visitors to sway together on stage.

The total ticket prepared by WRI for the event was as many as 300 tickets (one ticket for 65 RMB and one glass of cold cendol). Almost all the tickets sold out.
