Love Needs Space, Winaya Describes Through The Latest Single Wangmu Like Me

JAKARTA - The female soloist, Winaya Satasya, returns to greet fans with her fourth song, 'Wangimu Like Me'. This work was released about a year since the release of the previous song, 'It's been running' in February 2023.

Carrying an unusual title, Barsena's creation tells about feelings of discomfort in a relationship because it is too close.

"So, this single 'Wangimu Like Me' tells about the complaints of someone who feels that he feels like he has lost his identity because he is too attached to his partner. He feels that he needs space to be able to develop and become an individual who is intact with all his unique properties," said Winaya about the song in a written broadcast.

This single is a picture of Winaya's exploration in order to present something different. If most of the songs about the complaints about the couple wear rhythmic or sad tones, 'Wangimu Like Me' actually presents it with a cheerful feel.

This song has strength in the lyrics and a unique combination of arrangements. Even though it has a deep enough message, the vibe that is presented is cheerful, but there is still a feeling of wanting to reflect when listening to it. So, it's full of complaints, but all of it comes out of our feelings because we love our partner, "he explained.

Winaya wants to give more to listeners through her work. Not only entertaining aesthetically, through music he hopes to provide value and benefits for others.

The way to sing this song turned out to be a challenge for Winaya, who was initially still tied to the rhythm of the song, so she sang it intermittently.

"But, when I met Sis Barsena, I was directed to sing with the swing style. Apparently, playing the voice for the Swing effect was quite difficult because I had to make sure it wasn't too subtle and still energized," said the singer who also cares about the welfare of these animals.

Another interesting side is that this song does not use the word love in its lyrics. Even so for Winaya 'Wangimu Like Me' has a message that is quite deep.

This song is a love song, but there is no word love and it gives a reminder of the serious things to our loved ones. The point is I love you. But, maybe we have our own time. Whether it's a married couple, parents with children, or between friends, everyone must have a special space for themselves so that they don't lose their identity because that makes us different and healthy for our relationship.
