Caccia Collaborates With Kara Chenoa At A Single Titled Wish I Was Her

JAKARTA - Duo Caccia is back with a new single titled Wish I Was Her. This song is the first for Anya (vocals) and Kenny (instrumentals) in the last two years, since releasing Better Off Alone in January 2022.

In this new single, Caccia presents a collaborator, something that has never been done before. Anya and Kenny collaborated with the talented young rapper Kara Chenoa.

Meanwhile, Wish I Was Her combines a love story without reply. The lyrics explore the suffering of longing for someone who already has a lover.

"As a singer, I position myself as the girlfriend of the person who is estimated. Simultaneously, I also have to face the harsh and sweet reality of attention that cannot be possessed," Anya said in her statement, Wednesday, February 28.

This song combines acoustic guitars with bossanova, 808 beats, dynamic synthesizers, Anya vocal characters that stick to the roots of R&B and soul, and Kara Chenoa's rap style.

The difference between this song is its unique contradiction and sad lyrics with upbeat tempo. It is hoped that this will create a harmonious combination of melancholic and addictive rhythms that are in line with the complexity of the human heart.

Wish I Was Her is also the first of four songs that are planned to be material in an extended play (EP) or mini album that will be released later.
