Duta Invites His Eldest Daughter To Be Sheila On 7's Vocal Backing

JAKARTA - There was something interesting when Sheila On 7 appeared as a performer for the New Year's Eve event which was held at Brahmin Field in the Prambanan Temple area on Sunday, December 31.

Duta (vocals) for the first time took his eldest daughter, Aishameglio Duta Chiara, to be backing vocals when Sheila On 7 appeared on the music stage.

The 18-year-old's presence was quite surprising, because the girl who is familiarly called Aisha is better known for her talent in the badminton field.

Aisha's video, which backed up vocal Sheila On 7 in the Swara Prambanan event, went viral and was widely discussed on social media.

"Give the most lively applause to my bestie, Aishameglio on backing vocals," said Duta introducing the princess.

"Hopefully you won't give up, Sis," said the Ambassador again.

Aisha looked embarrassed when the spotlight pointed at her and her father introduced her to the thousands of people watching.

Then, the Ambassador tried to make his son more confident and greet the spectators present.

"Don't listen, Sis. Why are the audience, Sis," asked the Ambassador to his daughter.

"Hello guys," said Aisha briefly.

The Ambassador and thousands of spectators who attended laughed at Aisha's shy greeting. Furthermore, Sheila On 7 resumed her appearance.

In this event, the moment of the calculation of the turn of the year in 2023 to 2024 was filled by Sheila On 7 which was also the highlight of Swara Prambanan. All residents who attended sang and watched the fireworks display accompanied by the song Sheila On 7, closed with fireworks and hip hop music from the Jogja Hiphop Foundation.

Apart from Sheila On 7, several Yogyakarta musicians also performed that night, including Jikustik, Kunto Aji, and the Jogja Hiphop Foundation, Shaggydog, and Ndarboy Genk.
