DWP Becomes An Opportunity For Overseas Performers To Vacation In Indonesia

JAKARTA - The Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) will again be held at GWK Cultural Park, Bali on December 8-10.

Events in Jakarta with Bali certainly have a different impression, especially for performers who are imported from abroad.

Sarah Deshita as the 2024 DWP Program Director said that this moment is not impossible as an opportunity for foreign performers to take a vacation. The reason is, Bali is a tourist destination that is already known to world tourists.

"Actually, what makes them interested is like all vacations," said Sarah Deshita in Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta, Wednesday, November 29.

Furthermore, Sarah explained that 15 times the DWP experience was held, indeed many foreign musicians performed, then continued their activities in Indonesia to explore existing tourist destinations.

"We always have a DWP at the end of the year, so every year there are so many artists who have played at the Jakarta DWP, they also continue their vacation to Bali," said Sarah.

"I think, in that unit, they always ask, whether they play in Jakarta or Bali, they must ask whether there are other tourist destination cities," he continued.

Sarah sees this as also good for Indonesian tourism as a whole. That way, the world's great musicians can also enjoy their activities in Indonesia.

"I think it's also good for our country, where we can also introduce other cities besides the city where this event was held," he said.

For information, several foreign musicians who will appear in the 2023 DWP include David Guetta, Alesso, DJ Snake, Alok, Fisher, Sebastian Ingrosso, Oliver Heldens, and many others.
