Sales Of Lana Del Rey Lampaui Pink's Black Dishes Album, Taylor Swift, Paramore And Miley Cyrus

JAKARTA - Lana Del Rey's latest album, Did You Know That There A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd has been the best-selling album for 2023 so far.

Released last month, the ninth studio album released by the pop icon debuted at the top of the Official Albums chart and made it Lana's sixth studio album topped the charts in England.

Now, the album has also been certified as the best-selling album of 2023, surpassing Pink's albums, Paramore and Taylor Swift. It also gives Lana's strongest first week on the charts since 2014, when her second studio album Ultraviolence reached its peak position.

As reported in Official Vinyl Albums Chart Top 40, less than a month after its release, Did You Know That There A Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd sold over 20,800 copies in that format.

This means that the Summertime Sadness singer beat Pink's top hit chart, Trustfall, for the first week of album sales in 2023.

Another number one album that is included in the best-selling record list of 2023 includes Midnights from Taylor Swift, Paramore's This Is Why, Miley Cyrus' Endless Summer Vacation and a re-release of St. Jude from Courteeners which reached the top position 15 years after its original release.

The Mori mementos from Depeche Mode and Cuts & Bruises from Inhaler were also among the top 10 releases in 2023, while the classic albums by Pink Floyd and Fleetwood Mac also managed to reach that position.
