Stormzy, Liam Gallagher, Dan RATM Jadi Headliner Reading & Leeds Festival 2020

JAKARTA - Britain's famous music festival, Reading & Leeds Festival is back. In their full line-up announcement, they confirmed that Liam Gallagher, Rage Against The Machine (RATM), and Stormzy are the headliners of the festival. These three musicians will fill the main stage of the festival on August 28-30, 2020.

Gallagher became the first headliner to be announced in November, long before the official announcement from Reading. It reads: "Reading and Leeds you know LG x". The Reading and Leeds Twitter accounts returned the tweet with the words; “Okay Liam… stay calm,” while uploading a screenshot of Gallagher's tweet.

RATM became the second performer to be announced as a headliner. This is part of their comeback after being on hiatus since 2011. Not only Reading & Leeds, RATM will fill Coachella, Rock En Seine, and Lollapalooza and are scheduled to hold a tour to various countries.

Meanwhile Stormzy was the last announced headliner and performed on the first day. The rapper is currently in conversation and has headlined the Glastonbury festival. He will also appear at Indonesia's first hip hop, soul and rap festival, FLAVS in April.

Apart from duet with singers like Ed Sheeran, Stormzy is also known as a figure who is open to criticizing the government.

In addition to the three headliners, Reading & Leeds will feature Migos, Two Door Cinema Club, All Time Low, Sleeping With Sirens, The Maine, Rex Orange County, Gallows, Run The Jewels, Slowthai, and many more. Ticket sales for Reading & Leeds will begin on February 13 starting at 9am UK time.
