JAKARTA - Tom Morello spoke to Rolling Stone magazine about future plans for the Rage Against The Machine (RATM) following the cancellation of a band tour in North America last October.

The tour was canceled three months after RATM frontman Zack De La Rocha suffered a left-handed tendon achilles injury.

De La Rocha picked up an injury in the middle of a RATM concert on July 11, 2022 in Chicago. The incident occurred during the fourth song of the second show on the long-delayed "Public Service Announcement" group reunion tour.

During the rest of the tour, Zack appeared sitting and the show took place without a hitch, although the stage staff had to take the vocalists up and down the stage every night.

Talking about when RATM will perform again, said Morello.

"Rage Against The Machine is like a ring in 'Obviously Of The Rings'. It makes men crazy. It makes journalists crazy. It makes people in the record industry crazy. They want it. They want something, and they are crazy. If there is a Rage show, if there is no Rage show, you will hear it directly from this band," said Tom.

"When there is news, it will come from the band's collective statement. There is no news... if RTAM will be vaccinated, RATM will say, 'We will be on hiatus.' It hasn't happened yet. I would say that I understand and appreciate frustration. There is some kind of frustration because I don't know when you are in the band! But it produces a lot of good music."

Tom is currently preparing a schedule to come with his band Freedom Fighters Orchestra.
