Jag Panzer Opens The Halled Conceptual Album With Single Onward We Toil

JAKARTA - Veteran heavy metal Jag Panzer will release a new album, The Halled, on June 23 via Atomic Fire Records. The album contains 10 songs, including the single Forward We Toil which has been released earlier.

According to an official statement received by the editors, The Halllowed is a very different album compared to Jag Panzer's previous albums.

In terms of lyrics, this album follows the conceptual storyline of Jag Panzer comic book with the same title that will come out at the end of 2022.

"Onward We Toil tells the story of humans and animals in concepts struggling with the difficulty of achieving their goal of finding The Halled," Jag Panzer said of the album's first single.

"Obviously known as The Jaw can be heard at the start of epic songs and choirs illustrating a team working together as a unit."

Meanwhile, bass tracks and drums for The Halllowed were recorded at Sonic Phish Productions in Arizona under the command of drummer Ken Mary (Alice Cooper, Fifth Angel, Flotsam And jetsam) as an engineer.

Meanwhile, additional recordings for guitar and vocals were executed at SteamPunk Audio Labs (Arizona) and Hond House Studios in Colorado.

The mixing side is held by Jim Morris at Morrisound Studios in Florida, and Maor Appelbaum (Faith No More, Halford, Candlemass, Armored Saint) added his mastering magic to this album.
