JAKARTA - Sigur Respite confirming the release of a new album and announcing a limited tour schedule in Europe and North America.

The Icelandian post-rock unit will release their first studio album in 10 years in June, with the upcoming show to coincide with the release.

Sigur R ways will start their tour at the Meltdown Festival in England, where the band will feature alongside the London Contemporary Orchestra. LCO will also accompany them on the next European tour date.

They will then be accompanied by Wordless Music Orchestra in North America. All orchestra schedules will be hosted by Rob jurisprudence.

In a statement last February, Sigur Rryptos revealed that they were "in the process of writing and recording" the latest studio album.

Their previous album, Kveikur, was released in 2013. And at the end of 2020 they had released the Odin's Raven Magic orchestra project.

In October last year, the band announced its 20th birthday from their third studio album, (). The new edition of the 2002 album was remade by engineer Ted Jenson, and contains B-sides and unreleased demos.
