Deep Purple Prepares Special Setlist For Fans In Solo

JAKARTA - British hard rock legend Deep Purple will hold a concert at the UMS Editor, Solo on Friday.

In a press conference held at the Alila Hotel, Solo today, Thursday, Deep Purple vocalist Ian Gillan promised a special appearance.

The vocalist revealed that Deep Purple had prepared a surprise. But, of course, he didn't reveal it clearly.

"We have prepared a special setlist," said Gillan.

When asked if Deep Purple would perform Child In Time for the first time since 21 years ago, Gillan gave an explanation.

"I've often sang Child In Time songs," Ian Gillan indirectly said that he would not perform the song that resides in the Deep Purple In Rock (1970) album.

This song was the last time they played on stage on a 2002 European tour.

As for the concert in Solo tomorrow, the band, which is now inhabited by Ian Paice (drums), Roger Glover (bass), Ian Gillan (vocals), Simon McBride (guitar), and Don Airey (keyboards) will repeat the history of 1975 with the appearance of God Bless re-opened.
