JAKARTA - Kembali bekerja sama dengan gitaris Forgotten, Zoteng, Taring menempat single baru bertajuk Berpi-Api pada 24 Februari lalu.

This is the fifth time Taring has teamed up with Zoteng as a sound engineer, after releasing Nazar Palagan, Kontra Kebiuan, Kekali Mengalang, and Slaptika in 2019.

This material has been worked on for a long time, even produced by the late Ebenz, the guitarist for Burgerkill ahead of his passing.

Berapi-Api is the opening gate for the third album, which is planned to be titled Megatruh under the auspices of Revolt Records. After Ebenz's death, the producer's position was continued by Agung Hellforg, another Burgerkill guitarist.

"Yes, Ebenz participated in producing Taring's new album material. He played a very large role. Such as helping to maximize Gebeg to perfect the beat and beat his drum. We were then assisted by Agung for maximum exploration in the riff and complete song structure," explained Nyannyannk in an official statement received by the editor, Monday.

Speaking of the recording process, Gebeg explained that the production of this song has different treatment from the previous Taring albums.

"During the recording, I used the Ludwig drum and Zildjian Cymbals, which I usually use when performing. The drum recording in this song is different from the previous Taring albums. Because in the Chronic Rock studio the software uses Studio One, it is different from other recording studios that use Preamp. So it takes more constant playing drums, until the legs hurt a lot and the hands were injured, haha. Moreover, it was recorded from the drums directly to the mic king and entered the mixer," explained Gebeg.

"I'm tired and tired, but the results are maximum. This is my first time with Ebenz trying a recording like this. Let the sound of the drum wood and the original cymbal. So you know that drums and cymbals are expensive, haha. Anyway, listening to our songs and albums later, you need to focus and don't stop. So remember, Ebenz and I often debate about drum beats in Taring music material, "concluded the drummer, he said.

Regarding the lyrics, Nyankyannk said, thenote sentence in the lyrics is a reflection of all of us who always respect the process. Because, by appreciating the new process, we are also able to appreciate the results that have been obtained.
