JAKARTA - Three AMI Awards-winning musicians, namely Jevin Julian, Kara Chenoa, and Jinan Laetitia collaborated on the song The One which is the original work of MALIQ & D Essentials.

The One was first performed by MALIQ in 2005. This time, it was interpreted by these three musicians with their respective identities that were strong and succeeded in creating a slick combination.

"To be honest, the three of us still don't believe we can perform songs from MALIQ and are given the opportunity to make it our version with our characteristics. Hopefully you all like it," said the three of them in a written statement received by the editor on Sunday.

Jinan Laetitia's unique voice opens this upbeat tempo song. Kara Chenoa shows her ability to ramp in this song which is also a differentiator from the original version.

Jevin Julian, who not only sang but also produced, made this song sound so good to dance.

This song is the closing of a collaboration project between Warner Music Indonesia and MALIQ & D Essentials.

A total of five other single hits from MALIQ have been brought back by the artist Warner Music Indonesia, namely Dancing by Mirriam Eka, Untitled (Rahmania Astrini), Dia (Eclat), Tertimah (Chintya Gabriell)a, and Heaven (Rafi Sudirman).
