Travis Barker' Finger Injury Makes Blink-182 Reunion Tour Back To Next Year

JAKARTA - Blink-182 postponed their tour schedule in Mexico and South America until 2024 following Travis Barker' finger injury.

The drummer underwent surgery on Wednesday following an injury he sustained during training for the upcoming Blink-182 world tour.

Last month, Barker had his fingers and ligaments torn as he played drums, before returning to injury during training two weeks later.

Now, guitarist and vocalist Tom DeLonge has provided the latest Kababr regarding the Blink-182 tour schedule via Instagram video posts.

I apologize to all the fans in South America, that we couldn't be there, DeLonge started. This is something we've been trying to do for a long time, and we're working really hard, and we've just had one of those strange accidents that anyone didn't expect.

"Travis had to go to hospital and undergo surgery on his finger and we had to do it well, we had to be strong before we could do anything else."

"It's really sad. It's the biggest show we've ever played, it's some of the most important places in the world for our band. It's like the peak of our career, going down and playing for you guys so I really want you all to know that we're destroyed."

He continued: I know you guys have been waiting so long. And we've been waiting too. It's really destructive on many levels. But we're going to make Travis better, we're going to go down the three of us, together and we're going to shake, and we're going to have fun with you guys.

"But I really want you to know, from my heart to your hearts, how important you are to us, and this is not something we hope to come for. This is really devastating. But we love you Blink-182 love you. We will see you soon."

The concert was further affected by Barker' injuries and a new date will be announced later:

With the postponement of these dates, the Blink-182 reunion tour will most likely start in the US in May.
