JAKARTA - The legendary band GIGI, will celebrate its 30-year journey through Indonesian music in a series of tours titled The Best of GIGI Road To 30th Anniversary with Neutron Live.
Bands consisting of Armand Maulana (vocalists), Dewa Budjana (guitar), Thomas Ramdhan (bass), and Gusti Hendy (drums) announced that they would tour this concert in five cities.
These five cities include the UMM Dome Hall - Malang (May 6), GOR UNY - Yogyakarta (May 20), DBL Arena - Surabaya (June 3), Basketball Hall Senayan - Jakarta (June 17), and GOR C-Tra - Bandung (June 24).
Rendy as the main director of Neutron Live gave reasons why he was interested in helping the series of GIGI concert tours.
"From us as promoters, the band GIGI is an Indonesian band with a lot of hits and has worked consistently for almost 30 years. This is the reason why we are interested in taking part in the GIGI 30-year tour series," explained Rendy, President Director of Neutron Live at a press conference in Jakarta, Wednesday.
Thomas Ramdhan also mentioned that Neutron Live looks very serious in planning this tour so they want to respond.
"Netron Live looks very enthusiastic in this tour, it is proven that the promoters have come three times to really talk about this," said Thomas.
Five cities in this tour destination are temporary listings. Along with the tour, the promoter will seek to widen this celebration in other areas.
"Of course, we hope that in these five cities it will become the opening gong which we can continue to continue in the next islands and cities. So, look forward to the update," said Rendy.
Tickets for the tour concert which will take place for about two hours are sold via Tiket.com at a price of IDR 250 thousand for festivals and VIPs for IDR 350 thousand.
