History Will Be Repeated! God Bless And Deep Purple Sepanggung Again

JAKARTA - Indonesian rock legend, God Bless is half a century old this year. To mark the golden age, they will return to their stage with Deep Purple.

The certainty of God Bless and Deep Puple will be announced by the promoters of Rajawali Indonesia at a press conference in Solo on Friday morning.

In his statement, Rajawali Indonesia CEO Anas Syahrul Alimi revealed that this concert was a special gift for Achmad Albar (vocals), Ian Antono (guitar), Abadi Soesman (keyboards), Donny Fattah (bass), and Fajar Satritama (drums).

"This concert is a gift for God Bless, whose music career age is entering 50 years," said Anas. "We, as promoters, take away our highest hat, Godbless is an asset for the country so it deserves the highest appreciation."

Through social media Instagram, Rajawali Indonesia said, this concert will be held on March 10, 2023 at the UMS Edutorium, Solo.

Of course, this concert repeats the historic events of 1975 at the Senayan Main Stadium when Deep Purple consisted of MK IV formations: David Coverdale (vocals), Tommy Bolin (guitar), Glenn Hughes (bass), Jon Lord (keyboards) and Ian Paice (drums).

Meanwhile, Ian Antono admitted that he was lucky to be back on stage with Deep Purple.

"As preparation for some time in the future, we will also practice quite strictly, we will be present with a complete formation," he said.

Meanwhile, for tickets, Rajawali Indonesia provides 9,000 strands divided into various categories; Presale, Regular, and OTS (on the spot) with five classes, namely Upper Purple, Purple, Green A, Green B, Festival.

Presale tickets are sold for just a day on Sunday January 15 at www.deeppurpleindonesia.com. Pre Sale Green A ticket IDR 1 million, Green B IDR 500 thousand, Festival IDR 750 thousand.

Regular tickets are sold on Tuesday 17 January, Green A IDR 1.5 million, Green B IDR 750 thousand, Festival IDR 1 million.
