Tyga Becomes The Third International Rapper In The FLAVS Line Up

JAKARTA - One by one the international FLAVS 2020 line-up was announced by the promoter. After announcing Stormzy at the beginning of the year and Lil Pump at the end of January, Visicita and Dyandra confirmed Tyga as the third line-up in the first hip hop, soul, and R&B festival in Indonesia on Monday, January 3.

Tyga is a phenomenal rapper who is known to be multitalented. Apart from being a rapper, he is also an actor and tv personality. Tyga has been on the band's Gym Class Heroes tour and grabbed the attention of hip-hop music fans. His first album, No Introduction, released in 2008, was produced by Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy.

Tyga took part in Chris Brown's FAME album and performed a duet with the album owner and Kevin McCall on the song Deuces. The song was nominated for the 2011 Grammy Awards for Best Rap / Sung Collaboration. The rapper whose real name is Michael Ray Stevenson has grown even further after releasing a number of albums and mixtapes in collaboration with other artists.

Meanwhile, the name Tyga - which stands for Thank You God Always - made his name known in the hip-hop scene.

Tyga's career journey became increasingly popular in the following years. He is increasingly productive releasing a number of singles. In 2019, Tyga released his seventh album entitled Legendary. The album, which successfully debuted at position 17 on the Billboard charts, is Tyga's biggest selling project. At the end of 2019, he released his last single entitled Ayy Macarena.

Not only in the world of rap music, Tyga has also appeared in several films, including Barbershop: The Next Cut, Boo! A Madea Halloween, as well as Once Upon a Time in Venice. He also played Jay in the television series Scream in the past year.

In 2019, Tyga was scheduled to appear at a festival in Bali but at that time he canceled a number of tours in Asia including his visit to Indonesia. So, his presence at FLAVS was his first appearance in the country.

Tyga adds to the FLAVS 2020 line up list.
