JAKARTA - Pearl Jam has returned with Dance of the Clairvoyants - the newest song taken from their eleventh album, Gigaton.

This brand-new dish from grunge legends shows how their music blows into an electronic direction. According to bassist Jeff Ament, this was done after they had gone through a "experimental" period.

"Dance is a storm of perfect experiment and real collaboration ... We have opened some new doors creatively and it's exciting," said Jeff, launching NME, Wednesday, January 22.

Produced by Josh Evans and Pearl Jam, Gigaton will arrive on March 27, 2020. This marks Eddie Vedder et al's first studio album since Lightning Bolt was released seven years ago.

"Making this record is a long journey," guitarist Mike McCready previously revealed about the album which will be released March 27, 2020.

"This album is dark and confusing at times, but also an interesting and experimental (musical) roadmap. Collaborating with my bandmates at Gigaton has finally given me greater love, awareness and knowledge of the need for human connection in this day and age."

In support of the Gigaton launch, Pearl Jam will hold the first leg of its North American tour in March and April. All 16 dates on the tour started on March 19 in Toronto, then hit The Forum (California) on April 15 and 16, and concluded with two dates in Oakland on April 18 and 19.

This tour is in addition to the European summer tour they announced earlier.
