Metallica Amazed To Hear Master Of Puppets In Stranger Things 4

JAKARTA - The song Master of Puppets from Metallica has become the talk of the town. After the song played on Stranger Things 4, it returned to several music charts, including iTunes and Spotify.

Metallica personnel expressed their amazement when they heard this song played in one of the climax scenes of the series.

"The way the Duffer brothers incorporate music into Stranger Things is constantly improving, so we love it when they don't just put 'Master of Puppets' in the series but put it in important scenes," Metallica wrote on Tuesday, July 5.

“We were very surprised by the final result and when we saw it we were very impressed… very good,” he said.

They also said that the audience could recognize Metallica's song from just one cut of the scene.

“This scene is so good that some people can guess what song it is from the cut off Joseph Quinn's hand in the trailer!! Isn't it cool?" Metallica said.

"It's an honor to be a part of Eddie's journey and once again with the other musicians in the series," concluded the band from the United States.

In their post, they added the hashtag #EveryoneIsWelcomeInTheMetallicaFamily which means everyone is welcomed as the Metallica family.

At a separate time, Joseph Quinn who plays Eddie revealed his story playing Master of Puppets in Stranger Things.

"I'm lucky because I've been playing it since I was a kid. I had a lot of free time but when I read the script, I immediately bought a guitar and started practicing,” Joseph Quinn told THR.

"When I did it, I thought I wouldn't be able to do something cool like this. So I wanted to do my best," he said.

In the series, Dustin and Eddie are assigned to divert monsters with sound. Eddie picks up a guitar and the intro Master of Puppets plays in the episode.

When the rain started to fall, the song Master of Puppets rolled in full and became the climax of Hawkins' group battle with Vecna. As the song rolls, Max meets the late Billy and tries to move his mind. This scene can be watched through Stranger Things 4 Volume 2 via Netflix.
