Taylor Swift's Travel Documentary In Miss Americana

JAKARTA - Singer Taylor Swift presents a documentary film entitled Miss Americana. The documentary will be filled with a summary of Taylor Swift's career from the first album to her latest album, Lover. The video will be released on January 31 via streaming platform, Netflix.

Prior to its global release, Miss Americana will make its debut screening at the Sundance Film Festival on January 23. As a female singer who has experienced the ups and downs of life, Swift has become an iconic figure in the music industry.

The announcement of the documentary Miss Americana was released when Swift wrote a long letter about an altercation with Scooter Braun and Scott Borchetta who had masters of her music. He wanted to use his old songs as well as some footage of his performance first, but this was not allowed.

“Now, my appearances at AMAs, Netflix documentaries and recorded shows I plan to play until November 2020 are question marks. I love you and I think you should know what is going on, "he wrote.

Big Machine Records, the label owned by Braun, claimed that the singer Blank Space did not allow the use of songs and there was no mention of Big Machine Records in the film. Then, they have resolved the issue of using the song for the documentary.

Directed by Lana Wilson, Miss Americana will provide Swift's perspective on her career as both a singer and actress. Miss Americana is one of the title tracks from the Lover album, Miss Americana & Heartbreak Prince. Meanwhile, recently Swift returned to acting through her role as Bombalurina in the film Cats.
