JAKARTA – Who is your favorite singer or song musician so far on Spotify? Maybe many people are not aware of this. But thanks to a new feature, Spotify Pie Chart, created by an American student, allows users to see a pie chart of their current musical tastes.

This Spotify Pie Chart was created by UCLA student Darren Huang and not by Spotify itself. This feature allows users to view their Spotify Wrapped at a certain point. Since the site was created earlier this week, several social media users have been sharing the results on Instagram and Twitter.

In addition there is also Receiptify (eceiptify.herokuapp.com ) another feature that allows Spotify and Apple Music users to see their top songs from the last month, last six months or all time. The results are displayed in the form of a receipt, such as from a grocery store.

Recently, Spotify also made a new feature that adds lyrics to all songs. Users can view lyrics by swiping up from the currently playing song, with some songs having real-time lyrics for the user to follow.

How to View the Spotify Pie Chart

You can view Spotify Pie Chat in third-party apps by clicking on the website, on your mobile or on your desktop.(https://huangdarren1106.github.io/#)

On the website, you will be asked to log into your Spotify account and allow the app to have access to your listening history. Once allowed, your Spotify Pie Chart will be created, which you can take a screenshot of to share with friends or on social media.

This chart is divided by genre of music, with the genres listed in the appropriate color. If you click on a genre in the chart, you'll see what artists are part of that genre.

Social media users have also shared some of their favorite and confusing music genres, including "post-teen pop," "Ohio hip-hop" and "New England emo."

Below the chart will also be a list of your top artists, with your favorite top artists in bold and in larger letters, and the names of the following artists in smaller fonts.
