JAKARTA - Yamaha continues to prove the existence of the MAXI line of premium scooters that are able to answer various consumer mobility needs. After successfully recording an interesting journey through the XMAX Navigate to The MAX (2022) event which crossed 10 cities for more than 3,000 kilometers, and the NMAX Tour Boemi Nusantara (2024) which covered 12 cities for more than 5,700 kilometers.

This year, Yamaha is back with a long-distance touring event titled MAXI Tour Boemi Nusantara which will take place from April to July 2026.

Unlike the two previous long-distance tours which focused on trying out new features on the XMAX Connected and NMAX "TURBO" series, the MAXI Tour Boemi Nusantara emphasizes the exploration of Indonesian culture and natural beauty from west to east using all variants of Yamaha MAXI scooters which are famous as children's touring motorcycles.

Not only presenting the sensation of adventure, this event also becomes a medium to weave brotherhood among fellow users of MAXI Yamaha through a community gathering agenda in every region that is stopped.

This grand journey will take place in 12 regions located on six major Indonesian islands, namely Sumatra, Java, Bali, Lombok, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi. In each area explored, participants will be invited to explore the beauty of nature, uniqueness, and richness of Indonesian culture reflected through the architecture of buildings, regional specialties, to art attractions and local belief traditions. Each stage will present different stories and experiences that enrich the meaning of this journey.

North Sumatra, especially the Toba Samosir area, will be the starting point for the start of this iconic journey. The world-famous panorama of the Toba Lake caldera, combined with the richness of the Batak tribe's art and culture, will be the main attraction that presents an unforgettable experience on the first stage of the MAXI Tour Boemi Nusantara.
