Royal Enfield Presents Bear 650, the Latest Scrambler at IIMS 2026

JAKARTA - Royal Enfield has once again confirmed its presence in Indonesia through participation in the Indonesia International Motor Show IIMS 2026. As a global leader in the medium-sized motorcycle segment, Royal Enfield presents the Bear 650 as the latest scrambler.

This motorcycle is inspired by the spirit of Eddie Mulder or Fast Eddie, an icon of California desert racing, known for his courage and instincts since winning the Big Bear Run in 1960 at the age of 16.

The Bear 650 is born from a sharp instinct and is powered by Royal Enfield's globally recognized Twin Platform 650. Known for its smooth and characterful performance, the engine produces 47 bhp (34.6 kW) at 7,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 56.5 Nm at 5,150 rpm, making the Bear 650 have a stronger power boost than other Twin models.

Meanwhile, the 2-1 exhaust system innovation which is able to increase torque and present a wider range of power, in addition, the use of a single muffler can help reduce weight while reinforcing the distinctive appearance of a scrambler.

Royal Enfield's Asia Pacific Business Head, Manoj Gajarlawar, revealed that the Bear 650 Inspiration was born from one of the legendary stories - Eddie and Big Bear Run in 1960. Bear 650 conveys the true instincts, spontaneous impulses, and endless determination, and represents the DNA and mindset of a true scrambler with a full-send philosophy.

"This motorcycle is built to provide confidence and control in various terrains, both when crossing urban roads and challenging routes. Bear 650 is not just about performance, but also about flexibility, toughness, and uncompromising spirit. We believe that riders in Indonesia will find a strong connection with this motorcycle," he said, during the launch some time ago.

Bear 650 made its debut in Indonesia in five variants, namely Boardwalk White, Petrol Green, Wild Honey, Golden Shadow, and Two Four Nine.

The prices of each variant are priced at IDR 241 million for Boardwalk White, IDR 245 million for Petrol Green, Wild Honey, and Golden Shadow, and IDR 247.7 million for the special edition Two Four Nine.
