Can Be An Inspiration, This Is The Modification Of Nmax Yamaha With The Supersport Racing Concept

JAKARTA Two-wheeled world is always synonymous with modifications, because it is this personal touch that makes the motorbike look more attractive and according to the character of the owner.

One of the premium lattices that are widely chosen to be modified is Yamaha Nmax Turbo. Nakano Garage's Rifky Hidayat became one of the modifiers who worked on this model and succeeded in presenting the concept of supersport racing inspired by the replica of the US rider's helmet, Jason DiSalvo. The Yamaha rider once stole the attention of the AMA Supersport dollar championship in 2004, and now the inspiration is poured into Nmax Turbo.

"As a modifier, I think Yamaha Nmax has always consistently presented a luxurious and classy design. But specifically for the third generation of Nmax 'Turbo', the appearance is much more assertive and sporty," said Rifky in an official statement from Yamaha, Tuesday, November 25.

One of the main focuses of Nakano Garage modifications is the color and graphics game. The entire body of the motorcycle was completely overhauled using an airbrush technique to resemble the appearance of the rare Arai Disalvo RR5 helmet. The dominant orange color, combined with a straight line graphic with gray and black patterns, as well as blue stellar accents and layered red-and-white lines that represent the flag of the United States. As a result, Nmax Turbo appeared striking and presented a nostalgic feel that immediately attracted attention.

Not only visuals, but the performance sector has also been improved. Nakano Garage upgraded the disc brake and rear suspension using Proper Fitting parts to keep the handling light even though it crossed the road surface which was not smooth. The disposal system also gets a new touch through the use of the 99 Racing exhaust which is fully made locally.

Various accessories also complete these modifications. Windshield, mirror, and seat use components from fire, while front-back brake handles and brake oil caps rely on parts from Nitex.

PR YRA & Community Manager of PT Yamaha Indonesia Motor Mfg, Rifki Maulana, said that since launching in 2024, Nmax Turbo immediately stole attention thanks to the latest technology, advanced features, and designs that now appear more sporting and firm.
