Yamaha Pamer Proto HEV, Futuristic Environmental Friendly Motor

JAKARTA - Yamaha gave a surprise at the Japan Mobilily Show 2025 exhibition by showing off the latest hybrid electric scooter Proto HEV, although still in the form of concepts but clearly showing the company's new direction in the environmentally friendly era.

Quoting from the 2 banhvn page, Friday, October 31, at first glance, the Yamaha Proto HEV looks neat, modern, but still sophisticated. The body line is soft and futuristic on the front, sporty on the back, and decorated with technological details such as a sleek LED cluster or sharp curved back light.

The HEV prototype comes with a shiny black color and combined with a silver handle panel and a typical Yamaha blue detail, creating a powerful display that emits an energetic hybrid feel.

However, what makes the HEV Proto the center of attention is the hybrid heart in it. The model uses the Yamaha Hybrid Series-Parallel (SPHEV) system which combines gasoline engines and electric motors in a concise and efficient layout.

Drivers can choose from two different modes of operation, namely Serene Mode which focuses on smooth and almost silent operation, ideal for driving in big cities. Spirited mode that activates gasoline engines to produce strong acceleration and 'emphasizing' sound typical of traditional scooters.

According to Yamaha, this exclusive energy management technology helps increase fuel efficiency by more than 35 percent compared to scooters in the same segment, but still provides an emotional driving experience.

The Yamaha Proto HEV is arguably not just a concept version, but an affirmation of the vision of "Fun to Ride" that Yamaha always carries 'to an environmentally friendly future, without losing the pleasure of driving'. If commercialized in the near future, this promises a new turning point, where efficiency and passion go hand in hand on two wheels.
