JAKARTA - Yamaha revived the XSR900GP 2026 with a very interesting color in Europe. A true classic sport motor that is not only retro, but also a tribute to the heyday of racing in the 80s.

Quoting from the Rideapart page, Thursday, October 30, the new color presented is yellow with a black touch, and its presence is to honor one of the most influential and prominent figures in the history of Grand Prix motorcycle racing Kenny Roberts.

It is known, America's first world champion, 'King Kenny' claimed three 500cc titles, spent 13 years with Yamaha and was considered an AMA racing legend with many impressive performances including his unforgettable appearance at Baghdad Mile 1975.

Although it looks classic, XSR900GP 2026 is not outdated in terms of hardware. Yamaha completed its motorbike with a CP3 888cc engine, 3 fresh cylinders, DOHC, cooled water which produces 120 cellphones at 10,000 rounds per minute and 93 Nm torque.

It's actually the same block as MT-09, but is refined to provide smoother driving and more torques in the mid-range that fits Sport Heritage's pleasure style.

The bike also packs a 5-inch TFT screen but displays analog clock displays, gives an old bike-like impression, but features are complete like Quickshifter, cruising control, ABS, traction control, and five different driving modes. Interesting isn't it?

Interestingly, Yamaha also introduced two legendary color classic Legend Yellow (Emas-Hitam) colors of the legendary Intercolor by Kenny Roberts. Legend Red (Red-White) reminiscent of the fiery years of Marlboro Racing.
