JAKARTA Kawasaki officially introduced the new ranks of Z900 Hospitals for 2026 with a thorough increase in engines, chassis, and electronic systems. This retro-modern-style motor retains its classic character, but now offers more up-to-date performance and technology.

Kawasaki still maintains a four-cylinder engine with a capacity of 948 cc, but with a number of updates that make its power increase. Z900 RS 2026 is now capable of generating 113.9 horse power at 9,300 rpm, up from 109 horse power at 8,500 rpm.

Launching from Visordown, Thursday, October 30, the torsion also increased from 70 lb-ft to 72 lb-ft or the equivalent of around 97.7 Nm, providing a stronger boost in the medium and upper rounds. State-of-the-art features are embedded in this bike.

The latest Z900 Hospitals are equipped with Electronic Throtle Valves (ETV) and cruise control systems which are now electronically controlled. Kawasaki also added an inertial gauge unit (IMU) that supports various active safety systems such as the Kawasaki Cornering Management Function (KCMF). In addition, this motor is equipped with a two-way quick shiftr (up-down Kawasaki Quick Shifter/KQS) which allows finer gear displacement without pulling the coupling lever.

In terms of legs, Z900RS uses an inverted front fork measuring 41 mm with customizable preload settings. The exhaust now uses a new header pipe and a megaphone-style muffler that gives a classic as well as sporty impression.

For the SE variant, Kawasaki added a back suspension of S46 type SHIPhlins as well as a Brembo braking system with a double disk of 300 mm in front and a single disk of 250 mm behind, providing a more precise braking performance.

The Z900RS 2026 comes in two variants, namely the standard model and the SE version. Standard variants are offered in the Candy Tone Red and Black Ball Edition colors, while the SE variant appears more exclusive to the Metallic Spark Black color. The official launch is scheduled for January 2026, although the official price has not yet been announced.
