Following Japan, Yamaha YZF-R25 2025 Lands In Malaysia At A Price Of IDR 90 Million

JAKARTA - Yamaha made a new breakthrough in Malaysia by launching a sporty-style sports fairing motorbike, Yamaha YZF-R25 2025, which was already present in Japan earlier this year.

Quoting from the Paultan page, Thursday, October 23, the motorbike is priced at 23,900 ringgit or around Rp93 million, which is more expensive than the Japanese version which is only Rp75 million. In fact, this price does not include taxes to registration.

Comes with two color choices, namely Pearl blue and racing blue, the new thing about R25 is the headlights, featuring a sleek DRL and LED elements, with a back light that looks like it has been taken from the R1 superbike.

In addition, the style for R25 was substantially changed, following the R1 and R9 sports motor lines. The armchair units are now very similar to R1, while the body panels are all new, featuring a slightly aerodynamic style.

This model has also been equipped with two ABS channels with standard equipment, along with the Yamaha Y-Connect app which displays Bluetooth connectivity to the driver's smartphone. Y-Connect allows real-time updates such as phone notices, fuel consumption levels, vehicle maintenance.

Machine specifications remain the same, with a liquid cooler, DOHC, eight valves, a parallel twin factory that replaces 249cc that powers R25. Power output is assessed at 35.4 hp at 12,000 rpm with a maximum torque of 22.6 Nm at 10,000 rpm.

Its power is paired with a six-speed gearbox and a final mover of the chain to the rear wheels. The tire size is 110/70 front and 140/70 rear rubber with a seat height set at 758 mm.

Speaking of convenience, this model is equipped with a reverse fork suspension up front, non-adjustable, and customizable monoshocks on the back, while braking uses a single hydraulic disk in front and rear.
