Peugeot Rises Motorcycle Racing Sensation 2 Tak With 50 Cc Machine Through XP6

JAKARTA Peugeot will launch three new models of XP6 collaboration with Sherco. This motorbike is here to revive the glory of a manual-transmission 50 cc motorcycle that was once popular among young Europeans.

Peugeot XP6 comes in three variants, namely XP6 Supermotard, XP6 Supermotard R, and XP6 Enduro. The three are equipped with a liquid-cooled 2-tak-cylinder Minarelli AM6 with 6 acceleration transmissions.

The machine is known to be responsive and light, making it ideal for young riders who want the sensation of sporty driving from the age of 14 years and over. In design, XP6 displays an aggressive appearance with a sturdy steel crane frame and a racing-style sleek body.

The standard Supermotard variant uses a 17-inch wheel with a front disc brake measuring 300 mm and a telescopic fork. While version R gets an upgrade in the form of a 41mm upside down front fork with a diameter, a light-finger rim, and a more precise suspension system.

For off-road fans, the XP6 Enduro variant is prepared with 21 inches of front wheels and 18 inches behind, making it ready to conquer the soil and rock routes. These three variants show Peugeot and Sherco's seriousness in presenting motorcycles that are not only stylish but also tough in various terrains.

Peugeot XP6 launches scheduled for January 2026 in France, with its official debut likely to take place at the EICMA Milan event. The production of the bike was carried out at the Beaulieu-Mandeure plant, France, confirming the identity of the Made in France which is the pride of Peugeot.

Although there has been no official announcement regarding prices, XP6 is predicted to compete fiercely in the European entry-level motorcycle segment. This collaboration is also Peugeot's strategic step in expanding product lines after the success of the PM01 model.
