Honda CB1000 Hornet SP Limited Edition Launches At A Price Of IDR 344 Million, What's Special?

JAKARTA Doble Motorcycles in collaboration with 5Four modified houses introduced a special edition Honda CB1000 Hornet SP. This collaboration produces premium sports motors with exclusive design touch and a number of changes highlighting the distinctive character of 5Four.

This limited edition unit will only be produced as many as 54 units worldwide, making it the target of collectors and high-performance motorcycle lovers. As reported by Visordown, Monday, October 6.

The Dealer Honda from Coulsdon, England, Doble Motorcycles, confirmed that an order for the 5Four edition of the CB1000 Hornet SP has been opened, and one of the first units is already available in their showroom to be exhibited to the public.

Each unit was assembled manually by well-known designer Guy Willison and given a unique serial number. Willison's name is also written in the fuel tank as an authentic signature of the exclusive work.

In terms of appearance, 5Four presents a number of striking changes. This edition Honda CB1000 Hornet SP received a color scheme inspired by endurance racing with a combination of red candy, blue, and pearly white.

The Honda logo is painted hand in the fuel tank, while the back seat and pad are sewn manually with an elegant diamond pattern. Other changes include the use of LED rearlight with a higher retail tidy design, as well as a Racefit-made titanium exhaust featuring 5Four logo laser carvings and Racefit.

Exclusive details are also present on the brakes and aluminum billet couplings as well as a certificate of authenticity which is signed directly by the maker. The four-cylinder glassy liquid-cooled engine remains the mainstay, with a maximum power of 155 hp at 11,000 rpm and a peak torque of 78.9 lb-ft at 9,000 rpm.

The braking system uses a double disk of 310 mm with a quadruple Brembo Styleme four piston in front and a single disk of 240 mm with a Nissin Kaliper on the back. The front suspension uses a 41mm Upside-down SFF-BP Showa with 118 mm travel, while the back relies on a Pro-Link Showa monoshock with 138 mm travel, ensuring stability and comfort when driving on various road conditions.

The 5Four edition Honda CB1000 Hornet SP is priced at 15,454 pounds, or around Rp. 344 million. The price reflects the quality and exclusivity of this motor, which is positioned as the most special version of the Hornet line.

Meanwhile, the Chairman of 5Four Motorcycles, Adrian totaling, called this collaboration one of the proudest projects for his team.

With an elegant design, wild performance, and a very limited number of productions, the 5Four edition Honda CB1000 Hornet SP is not just a sports motorbike, but a machine art work that strengthens England's reputation in the world of premium motorcycle modifications.
