Excitement of MAXi Yamaha Day in Medan, Celebrating Indonesia's 80th Anniversary of Independence

JAKARTA - The excitement of MAXi Yamaha Day continues in various cities. After visiting Nganjuk and Palembang, the event has now arrived in Medan, coinciding with the special occasion of Indonesia's Independence Day celebrations.

This year's MAXi Yamaha Day Medan event also features various symbolic activities to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia, including various August 17th competitions, a cultural parade, and touring and bonding with loyal MAXi users.

Joni Lie, General Manager of Marketing & Sales at PT Alfa Scorpii, Yamaha's Main Dealer for the Aceh and North Sumatra Areas, expressed his delight that this year's MAXi Yamaha Day Medan event coincided with the 80th Indonesian Independence Day celebrations.

"This moment feels so special because it is not only a time for togetherness and celebration for loyal MAXi users, but also a forum to express the spirit of unity, pride, and love for the homeland. The warmth and enthusiasm shown by the participants today is real proof that the Yamaha MAXi is not just a vehicle, but part of a lifestyle that unites," he said, in an official statement received on Tuesday, August 19.

This year's MAXi Yamaha Day Medan event kicked off with a city roll from Medan Yamaha Center to Bali Lestari Beach, the main venue. Hundreds of loyal MAXi Yamaha riders, including the XMAX, NMAX "TURBO," AEROX ALPHA, and LEXi, had gathered early in the morning, ready to ride their motorcycles.

Upon arrival, participants were greeted by a cultural parade from various MAXi Yamaha communities from Medan and the surrounding area, displaying their motorcycles adorned with various red-and-white-themed ornaments and decorations. The event then continued with a flag ceremony attended by all participants.

A solemn atmosphere also enveloped the flag ceremony, as the proclamation text was read and the Red and White flag was raised. Following the flag ceremony, the event continued with various August 17th competitions, including tug-of-war, a cracker-eating contest, a sack race, and a fashion show themed around independence.

Furthermore, loyal MAXi Yamaha users from various regions in Medan also showcased their motorcycle modifications in a modification contest. Modifications to Yamaha's latest lineup, such as the NMAX "TURBO" and AEROX ALPHA, presented in various themes, successfully captured the attention of attendees.

The event was further enhanced by an exhibition of Yamaha's flagship products, including spare parts and apparel, a free oil change promotion, and more. Participants also had the opportunity to enter a lucky draw with a grand prize of a Yamaha GEAR ULTIMA motorcycle.
