JAKARTA - A motorcycle manufacturer from Japan, Kawasaki has officially brought voice control features to several models in 2025, consisting of Z900, Ninja 1100SX, and Versys 1100.
Launching from Motorcyclenews, Monday, February 10, this system is developed independently by Kawasaki and integrated with the Cerence software. This allows motorists to control several functions hands-free while traveling.
With the presence of this technology, this at the same time affirms the manufacturer's commitment to providing electronic assistance technology to drivers.
"This includes not only engineering-based features but also focuses on the current and future needs of motorists," said one of Kawasaki's spokesmen.

This feature has 18 available commands, so users can make phone calls, check the weather, adjust volumes, access navigation, and monitor vehicle information.
Kawasaki claims the technology has been in development for more than a year, including addressing one of its biggest challenges being the introduction of multiple languages and accents for various markets.
The manufacturer advises motorists to use this system only at speeds below 120 km/hour to reduce noise disturbances in the wind.
Kawasaki also mentioned that this feature has been tied to the owner of the motorbike. Thus, the next owner does not have access to the voice command function from the previous owner.
If the bike is sold within one year of purchase, the new owner will not be able to access the voice commands function of the previous owner, added a brand spokesperson.
The presence of this feature also answers the market demand that wants this voice command feature even though Kawasaki has not disclosed market research data regarding the demand for this sophisticated system.
