Yamaha Will Add Hybrid Motorcycles, Launch In The Near Future?

JAKARTA - Yamaha is expected to launch a new motorcycle embedded with hybrid technology with a FZ-X 150 cc base.

Quoting from the Autocar India page, Friday, January 17, the motorcycle equipped with hybrid technology is expected to be launched at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 event.

The updated hybrid technology in Yamaha FZ-X will embed the Integrated Starter Generator (ISG), which will provide a slight electrical boost to increase the output to the maximum. Thus will get start-up technology like an automatic motor.

The changes to the model will include the presence of a colorful TFT screen, which will provide important information for users, including call warnings, music controls, and much more.

The matter of the heart of the runway is currently still packing a 149 cc air-cooled one cylinder engine, which produces 12.4 hp and 13.3 Nm of power. It is predicted that there will be an increase in the engine side.

Including in terms of price, thanks to the latest technology embedded, the price is also expected to increase, after officially launching.

Talking about the Yamaha motorbike embedded with Hybrid technology itself is already present in Indonesia, but only two models are Fazzio and Grand Filano. Both are pinned Electric Power Assist Start which makes the initial acceleration more powerful and smooth, especially in inclines and when riding.
