Kawasaki Releases The Latest W230 With Retro Design, Suitable For Urban Young Candidates

JAKARTA - Recently, Kawasaki introduced the latest W230 motorcycle with a classic roadster style for the Japanese market. This model is a successor to the W250 model known as Estrella, which was stopped production in 2017.

It is stated that Kawasaki W230 has a number of similarities with the Meguro S1 model. However, there are differences in badge elements, use of chrome, stickering, determinals and color choices.

Launching RushLane, Monday, June 24, the spotlight on W230 includes a headlights and a circle-shaped rearview mirror. The front light is equipped with an LED with a chrom ring resembling a Z650RS.

This model has a horizontal exhaust pipe with a thick chromo layer and a wide rear speed. In addition, W230 has a white and black dual-tone seat while increasing the aesthetic impression on classic motors.

For the back, this motorbike has a square light with a round sein. Unlike the front, the lighting behind it still adopts a halogen unit which is also in line with Kawasaki's retro design.

Kawasaki W230 has a sleek and compact design with a seating altitude of less than 800 mm, ensuring that even shorter drivers can gain optimal control.

The Japanese manufacturer also provides an ergonomic driving position with a wide handlebar and footrest so that it accommodates drivers driving comfortably both in urban and highways.

Despite having an old-school design, this bike has a small rectangular digital display speedometer and a tachyon featuring various information. Kawasaki has a W badge on the fuel tank which confirms that this is a W series that is known for its classic impression.

The setup of the suspension at the front consists of conventional telescopic forks and double shock damping at the back. Both at the front and back have disc brakes with double ABS channels as standard.

The motorbike shares the engine with Meguro S1, namely the latest air-cooled single cylindrical SOHC engine from the KLX230 series with a capacity of 233 cc which meets the Euro 5 emission standard.

Unfortunately, this Tokyo-based manufacturer has not disclosed the price of this motorbike. What is certain is that Kawasaki W230 will attract the attention of young drivers thanks to the retro view but still highlight the modern impression.
