This Yamaha XS650 Has Been Turned Into A Jadul Racing Motorbike

JAKARTA - Yamaha XS650 is known as a changeable or modified half-nake retro motor. Simone Corti, a modification activist from Italy, also did so. He assembled XS650 carrying the theme "Ship of Theseus".

Simone Corti uses a voltage aluminum frame as support for a tubular steel seat, then installs a sport bike-style swing to replace the dual-shock unit.

This motorbike is also embedded with Ohlins monoshocks and the front end that resembles the Honda CBR600RR. In addition, Corti equips the Brembo Kaliper on the front which can make the motor performance side increase.

Not to forget, Corti put the Avon Speedmaster front and rear with Dunlop K825 on the Yamaha XS650.

The most interesting part is the bodywork, which is inspired by the designs of MT-03 and R1. The part of the front end to the back is immediately very different from the original version of XS650.

In the energy disposal section, a exhaust made of carbon fiber material combines the old shape of the motor. To add to the retro impression but sporty, Corti gives a striking color of Aquamarine paint combined with Silver.

Most of the motors have been changed and their components, this modification activist from Italy maintains a 654 cc-capacity engine with twin-parallel air conditioning with five accelerations of transmission. The other parts that are not changed are the rear wheelset and plate brakes.
