JAKARTA - Chery revealed the reason behind the choice of the name Chery Q for the Indonesian market. Globally, the tiny electric car is known as the Chery QQ3 EV, but the manufacturer decided to use a more concise name for Indonesian consumers.
President Director of Chery Group Indonesia, Zeng Shuo, said the name simplification was done so that this model would be easier to recognize and reflect the character of the vehicle which targets the younger generation.

Chery Q is available in three premium color options, namely Dusk Purple, Oat Latte, and Spark White. The interior is also designed to be more personal through the smart cockpit concept with a head unit display that can be adjusted according to user preferences.
