JAKARTA - Maruti Suzuki officially launched the e VITARA with a price of 1,990,000 rupees or Rp370 million, but does not include a battery alias offered with a battery rental system.
Citing the Autocar India website, Wednesday, February 18, the price comes with a 49 kWh battery pack on the Delta trim with orders already open with immediate delivery.
Unfortunately, Maruti has not revealed the complete price list of its first EV, excluding the battery as a service (BaaS) rental program. The introductory offer for e VITARA is available until March 31, 2026.
In detail, for the 49 kWh battery pack with a front-mounted motor produces 144 hp and a range of 440 km, as well as the 61 kWh version with 174 hp and a range of 543 km.
Both have the same torque output of 189 Nm and come with a FWD layout as standard. The e VITARA is sold in three trims, namely Delta, Zeta, and Alpha. The Delta trim is only sold with the 49 kWh battery pack version, while the Zeta and Alpha trims are intended for the 61 kWh variant.

In appearance, the Maruti Suzuki e VITARA takes inspiration from the Maruti Suzuki eVX concept introduced at the Auto Expo 2023. The front gets fully LED headlights and thick cladding for the bumper, and the grille has a cover that opens and closes to cool the battery when needed.
Turning to the side profile, the e VITARA has a muscular bulge and aerodynamically optimized 18-inch alloy wheels. At the back, there is a spoiler, LED taillights connected by a transparent rod, thick cladding for the bumper, as well as the Suzuki emblem and e VITARA branding in the middle of the trunk door.
