Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 5 N Can Now Be Rented Monthly Through Hyundai Subscribe Program

JAKARTA - PT Hyundai Motors Indonesia (HMID) presents a new experience for automotive enthusiasts who want to experience using the Ioniq 5 and Ioniq 5 N electric cars, the program presented is Hyundai Subscribe.

The program is a monthly subscription for electric vehicles that provides a worry-free driving experience. Of course, the monthly fee covers insurance, maintenance, and taxes, customers can enjoy future mobility more easily and flexibly.

President Director of PT Hyundai Solusi Mobilitas, Kenny Lee, revealed that Hyundai wants to strengthen the presence of premium EVs, while still prioritizing accessibility.

"Hyundai Subscribe offers a flexible way for our customers to enjoy our latest technology without the limitations of traditional ownership. I am proud to announce that specifically for Hyundai, this program is being introduced for the first time in the Asia Pacific region, with Indonesia being the first country," said Kenny Lee, when met in Kemayoran some time ago.

The South Korean manufacturer claims that the initiative is part of our commitment to encourage the adoption of EVs in Indonesia, while also providing a more convenient, transparent, and comprehensive mobility experience.

From the data owned by Hyundai, it shows a significant shift in Indonesian consumers' interest in subscription vehicle models, which has increased from 49 percent to 72 percent in recent years.

Thus, consumers are increasingly looking for greater ease, vehicle unit availability, and flexibility, reflecting a preference for more practical and adaptive mobility solutions.

This program also provides consumers with an easier opportunity to experience Hyundai's premium EV line with more affordable costs, without the need for large initial investments as in conventional vehicle ownership. This also sets a new standard in the accessibility of more inclusive and adaptive premium EVs for the Indonesian people.

Hyundai Subscribe also provides hassle-free driving. Customers do not have to spend a large amount of money at the beginning, and get several additional benefits, including the availability of a replacement car in an emergency, 24-hour customer service, and free maintenance and insurance fees, so users can enjoy more flexible and convenient mobility according to modern lifestyles.

Taking a closer look at Hyundai's premium EV line, the Ioniq 5 is built on the Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) dedicated platform, offering fast charging capabilities as well as innovative features such as Vehicle to Load (V2L), Bluelink connectivity, and spacious interiors with premium comfort.

Meanwhile, the Ioniq 5 N is a high-performance version of the Ioniq 5 that produces up to 478 kW or 650 PS from a dual motor system, an acceleration of 0 to 100 km per hour in about 3.4 seconds, and a maximum speed of around 260 km/h. Equipped with an 84 kWh battery and technology that focuses on driving performance.
