Answer Market Needs, BYD Atto 3 Advanced Plus Officially Launched at IIMS

JAKARTA - BYD officially launched a new variant of the Atto 3 SUV, namely Advanced Plus, at the 2026 Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS), which comes with various improvements.

Head of PR & Government BYD Indonesia Luther Panjaitan, said he was very proud of the presence of this new variant of the Atto 3, which indeed comes with flagship features and of course makes users more comfortable.

"We are proud of this new variant of the Atto 3 Advanced Plus," he said, in a speech in Kemayoran, Jakarta, Thursday, February 5.

The presence of this new variant, according to him, is also based on the demand from consumers in Indonesia, for that BYD is developing by looking at the market response.

"This new variant is as usual, manufacturers are developing and seeing the market response, and our R&D sees certain segments and certain variants that consumers want," he added.

"Because we are a technology and innovation-based company, in terms of technology we have our own starting from batteries and features, but we must be careful about prices so that there is no cannibalism," he said.

To note, the new variant comes with a 15.6-inch Intelligent Touchscreen, wireless Phone Charger (front), ADAS, 18-inch continental tires, power tailgate, panoramic sunroof with electric sunshade.
