Honda Releases Latest Jazz in China, Prices Start at IDR 162 Million

JAKARTA - GAC Honda has introduced a fairly drastic redesign for the Jazz or which is sold in China as Fit. Seen in the previous leak, the second facelift exclusive to this country presents an aggressive sporty look.

Quoting from the Autohome website, Tuesday, January 20, the latest Honda Jazz was officially launched which is only available in one configuration, with a starting price of 66,800 yuan or around Rp. 162 million.

Interestingly, not many units are presented in the country alias only 3,000 units will be sold throughout the country. So what are the details?

In terms of appearance, the latest Fit adopts a new separate headlight design, giving a rounded and cute front shape. The top features a slim headlight assembly forming a continuous design, while the bottom houses separate high and low beam headlights.

The grille is covered, but there are four air intake holes in the lower left corner. The front bumper has a different color from the body and features a rectangular multi-finger cooling vent, giving the overall design a more vehicle-oriented feel. The panoramic windshield increases visibility, and the A-pillar is thinner and positioned further forward.

In terms of dimensions, the new model measures 4,169 mm long, 1,694 mm wide, 1,537 mm high, with a wheelbase of 2,530 mm. Compared to the current model, the length has increased by 44 mm.

The side profile is largely unchanged from the current model, retaining the triangular window on the A-pillar, while the rear bumper is more prominent. The new car offers three distinctive colors, Starry White, Fiery Yellow, and Extreme Blue.

The interior is largely unchanged, retaining the current model's design, but features an upgraded 10.1-inch floating center control screen that supports Apple CarPlay, Huawei HiCar, and Baidu Carlife smartphone connectivity.

In terms of power, this new car is still equipped with a 1.5-liter DOHC i-VTEC direct injection four-cylinder engine that produces 124 PS and 145 Nm of torque, combined with a CVT transmission.
