Ford Everest Tremor Officially Arrives, Performance Close to Raptor

JAKARTA - Ford officially launched the most powerful version of the Everest line, named Tremor, while bringing it closer to the position of the Everest Raptor.

Citing the Carscoops website, Wednesday, December 24, the biggest increase lies in the drive sector, with the adoption of a 2.7T V6 engine combined with a number of minor improvements to the chassis.

This new variant is only marketed in certain areas. Ford confirmed that the Everest Tremor is an exclusive model for the Middle East market and was officially introduced at the Liwa International Festival in Al Dhafra, Abu Dhabi.

The 2026 Ford Everest Tremor with its new powertrain still retains most of the Tremor's distinctive visual identity. In appearance, this model is similar to the Australian specification Tremor introduced last year, complete with Bilstein suspension, an increase in ground clearance of 26 mm, and black 17-inch rims wrapped in General Grabber AT3 all-terrain tires.

The most significant change is hidden behind the hood. For the Middle East market, Ford replaces the standard engine with a 2.7-liter twin-turbo EcoBoost V6 engine mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive as standard.

This engine is not new in the Ford lineup, because it has previously been used on the F-150 and Ranger specifications in the United States in the XLT and Lariat variants.

On the Everest Tremor, the twin-turbo V6 engine is capable of producing 350 hp of power with 500 Nm of torque, making it the most powerful Everest ever produced by Ford.

For comparison, the Everest Australia specification which relies on a 3.0-liter V6 turbodiesel engine has a lower power output, namely 247 hp, although it offers a larger torque of 600 Nm. With this V6 gasoline engine configuration, the position of the Everest Tremor is getting closer to the high-performance variant in the Ford SUV line.

In addition to Tremor, the 2026 Ford Everest lineup for the Middle East market also includes Active, Sport, and Platinum variants, all of which receive similar updates as the Australian specification model.
