Ready To Launch, Wuling Binguo Pro Becomes A New Electric Hatchback With A Motorized 65 KW

JAKARTA - Wuling has again added to the ranks of its electric vehicles in China after the latest regulatory document revealed a new model called the Binguo Pro. This Hatchback is positioned as a smaller version of the Binguo S and is an additional option in the compact electric car segment under the SAIC-GM-Wuling (SGMW) umbrella.

Based on registration data, the Binguo Pro has a length of 4,050 mm, a width of 1,758 mm, a height of 1,580 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,560 mm. Gross weight was recorded at 1,670 kg and an empty weight of 1,270 kg, as reported by Carnewschina, Saturday, December 6.

This car is capable of reaching a maximum speed of 130 km per hour, according to the figures listed in the document. Visually, the Binguo Pro comes with a rounding design language.

The main light is in the form of a circle, the door handle is made semi-flush, and the rim uses a petal-style style, giving a simple and friendly impression. This style is different from the Binguo S which appears more firmly through a strong shoulder line and the headlights are polygonal.

In the driving sector, the Binguo Pro is equipped with a 65 kW electric motor. The power is channeled through an LFP (lithium iron phosphate) battery produced by the Gotion High-Tech.

Other technical specifications such as battery capacity, recharge features, and estimated travel distance have not been disclosed in the document. When compared to Binguo S, this new model is at a lower level.

Binguo S is available on a 75 kW motorbike as well as a 31.9 kWh battery option and 41.9 kWh. Information about the price of the Binguo Pro has not yet been included, so additional details are expected to only appear at the official launch.

The presence of the Binguo Pro shows SGMW's strategy to expand their compact electric car portfolio. With increasingly diverse options, the electric hatchback market in China is projected to be more competitive, especially for urban consumers who need efficient and compact vehicles.
