Nissan Frontier Pro Made In China Officially Launches, There Are PHEV Versions And Priced From IDR 398 Million

JAKARTA - Nissan officially launched the Frontier Pro which was made in China and priced from 169,900 yuan to 249,900 yuan, or around Rp398-586 million.

Citing from the Carnewschina page, Friday, November 28, this new generation Frontier Pro marks a milestone for Nissan, becoming the first product of the brand to be fully designed, developed, and manufactured in China, with a global sales plan.

The Frontier Pro series presents a unique design philosophy for gasoline, diesel, and PHEV variants. The PHEV model retains Nissan's classic V-Motion design language, offering familiar but fresh aesthetics. In contrast, the PHEV version carries a more electric-powered and technologically advanced display, in line with modern EV trends.

In terms of dimensions, Frontier Pro offers a dashing look, with a length of 5,520 mm, a width of 1,960 mm, and a height of 1,950 mm, and a substantial wheelbase of 3,300 mm.

On the interior, Frontier Pro remains following modern demands, equipped with a large digital instrument cluster and central control screen. The physical button line is maintained on the center console. The experience in the cabin is further refined with an extensive JLA 12-peaker audio system and soft touch material.

Behind the hood, Frontier Pro offers a wide selection of powertrains. Fuel models are available with a 2.0T gasoline engine that produces 258 hp and a peak torque of 400 Nm, or a 2.3T diesel engine that produces 190 hp and a peak torque of 500 Nm. Both are combined with 8-speed automatic transmission.

The PHEV variant combines a 1.5T engine with a single electric motor installed in front, generating a strong combined system power of 320 kW (429 hp) and a combined 800 Nm torque. This force is combined with a 4-speed DHT transmission, offering a pure electric range of 135 km in CLTC conditions.
