BAIC BJ30 Hybrid FWD 4x2 Officially Launches At GJAW 2025, Price Is IDR 400 Million

JAKARTA BAIC Indonesia presents BAIC BJ30 Hybrid FWD (4x2) for the first time in public at the 2025 Gaikindo Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) event, Friday, November 21. BAIC BJ30 Hybrid FWD is here as a more competitive and affordable option, without reducing technology and safety standards.

This also continues the positive momentum after the world debut version of the BJ30 Hybrid AWD (4x4) at GIIAS 2025. Chief Operating Officer of BAIC Indonesia Dhani Yahya, said that his party is dedicated to continuing to present high-quality vehicles with the latest technology and competitive prices.

"This is also a form of our belief in Indonesia's increasing acceptance of BAIC brands and products. With the debut of the BJ30 Hybrid FWD, we expand our choice for consumers who want a modern and efficient hybrid SUV, as well as further strengthen BAIC's position in the hybrid medium SUV segment in Indonesia," said Dhani Yahya at ICE BSD, Tangerang, Friday, November 21.

This FWD variant is still equipped with a Smart Magic Core Hybrid engine and Dedicated Hybrid Transmission transmission which offers responsive acceleration, large torque, and cruising range of up to 1,000 km. The cabin is designed wide with a trunk capacity of up to 1,500 liters, a double layer windshield for sound damping, and is equipped with 12 ADAS features with 360 degrees monitoring coverage up to a distance of 200 meters.

During GJAW 2025, BAIC offers special prices for Jabodetabek consumers, namely BJ30 Hybrid FWD for IDR 499 million and BJ30 Hybrid AWD for IDR 575 million. In addition to BJ30, BAIC also features a BJ40 Plus with a City Hunter' concept with a more aggressive appearance, and BAIC X55 II which is known to have the best driving comfort in its class.

Through the full-sale program, BAIC Indonesia provides free periodic maintenance, vehicle guarantees for up to five years, as well as emergency roadside assistance services 24 hours for five years. This commitment is part of BAIC's strategy to strengthen consumer confidence and expand its presence in the Indonesian automotive industry since officially entering the market in 2024.
