Jeep Presents Wrangler Commando 392 Especially For American Soldiers

JAKARTA A special collaboration between Jeep and Fox Factory gave birth to the limited Wrangler Commando 392 model. This car was designed not for the public market, but in respect of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the United States Armed Forces.

This unit is only 250 units produced, with 249 units allocated to active personnel and veterans of the United States military. One other unit will be auctioned off specifically in April in commemoration of the Military Appreciation Month, as reported by Mototrend, Wednesday, November 12.

Wrangler Commando 392 uses an Unlimited Wrangler base with a Hemi V8 392 cubic-inch engine that is already known to be tough. However, for the Commando version, Jeep offers a Whipple supercharger option that can increase power up to 705 cellphones, from a standard 470 hp.

To support performance on the terrain, Jeep equipped it with a 3.5-inch lift kit from JKS Suspension, an external 3.0-inch shock from Fox Racing, as well as a 37-inch Nitto Ridge Grappler tire on a 17-inch rim with a beamlock capability.

Turning to the exterior is increasingly distinctive with a high clearance steel feder, a military-style front bumper, and a Bimini cloth roof that replaces the standard hard top. Jeep also pinned the tube door to make it look more like a military field vehicle.

The exterior paint Wrangler Commando 392 took inspiration from the typical color of the Willys 41 edition. While the interior received a luxurious touch but remains masculine, with a light brown leather (tan) seat and special stitches that read Commando.

Serep tires are no longer hung at the back door, but are placed in the cargo area behind the second row seat. This change provides space for integrated accessories panels that can be used to store various off-road equipment.

Jeep calls Wrangler Commando 392 a vehicle made for soldiers, not for showrooms. This philosophy confirms that despite appearing exclusive and high-value, this model retains Wrangler's true DNA: tough, ready to fight, and strong character.

The price of Wrangler Commando 392 starts at 69,995 US dollars (Rp1.1 billion) clear above the standard Wrangler 392 model. With production very limited and mostly designated specifically for active military members, Wrangler Commando 392 is one of the most exclusive editions in Jeep history.
