Porsche To Launch Cayenne Electric 19 November

JAKARTA Porsche is preparing to open a new leaf in the history of its luxury SUV by launching Cayenne Electric, the second all-electric model of their SUV lineup. The premiere will take place in two stages: digitally first, followed by public appearances in Dubai.

Cayenne Electric is scheduled to make its digital global debut on November 19, 2025. The launch event will be broadcast live through Porsche Newsroom, Porsche's official YouTube channel, and the company's LinkedIn account. Thus, fans and media around the world can witness the presence of the latest electric SUV which is said to be a new benchmark in its segment.

On its official website, Tuesday, November 11, Porsche said Cayenne Electric marked the continuation of a long journey that began more than two decades ago. At that time, the first generation of Cayenne managed to bring the spirit of Porsche sports cars into the world of SUVs, combining high performance with daily comfort. Now, through Cayenne Electric, Porsche is ready to repeat this success in the electrification era.

The new SUV was developed using Porsche's latest electric vehicle architecture. The German manufacturer claims Cayenne Electric will bring a perfect balance between performance and efficiency. The car is designed with Porsche characteristics that offer extraordinary driving dynamics, high comfort for long-distance travel, off-road capabilities that remain resilient, as well as e-mobility efficiency thanks to modern charging technology.

Cayenne Electric is also said not to replace the existing variants, but to complement the Cayenne lineup, which currently consists of models with internal combustion engines and plug-in hybrids.

Three days after its digital launch, Cayenne Electric will premiere in public at the Icons of Porsche Festival in Dubai, which will be held on November 22' 23 2025. The annual festival, which has entered its fifth edition, will be one of the most prestigious events for Porsche communities and fans in the Middle East. Last year, the event managed to attract more than 28,000 sports car fans from around the world and this year, Cayenne Electric will certainly be the main star.
