Wuling Steps On Gas, Immediately Sends EV And PHEV Dario Units To Consumers

JAKARTA - Wuling officially added its line of products in Indonesia by launching the EV and PHEV versions of Darion. Both were born in Indonesia which was intended for the family.

Targeting the environmentally friendly MPV segment, Wuling immediately stepped on the gas to produce this one car, after previously being introduced at the GIIAS 2025 event.

"For our direct production, both (EV and PHEV) are simultaneously, because since GIIAS there have been prebook consumers," said Wuling Motors Marketing Operation Director Ricky Christian, on the sidelines of the Dario launch, at PIK 2, Wednesday, November 5.

He further said that currently the model has been ordered by hundreds of units, and immediately send units to consumers who have ordered this car.

"If the number of orders is more than 300 and this month it has been produced and sent to consumers," he added.

The Wuling Darion EV is offered at a price starting at IDR 356 million and starting at IDR 439 million for PHEV. But keep in mind, both are prices on the road in Jakarta for the first 1,500 consumers.

In specifications, the Wuling Darion comes with a large dimension, a length of 4,910 mm, a width of 1,870 mm, and a height of 1,770 mm with a wheelbase of 2,910 mm. The cabinet carries a 2+2+3 configuration, complete with a captain seat in the second row and a wide footspace between lines of up to 230 mm.

For the EV version, the Wuling Darion is equipped with an electric motorbike of 150 kW (equivalent to 201 dk) with a torque of 310 Nm. The battery has a capacity of 69.2 kWh which is able to cover a distance of up to 540 km (based on CLTC standards).

Meanwhile, the PHEV Darion combines a 1.490 cc Atkinson Cycle gasoline engine with an electric motor of 145 kW or 195 dk with a battery of 20.5 kWh, this car can go up to 125 km in pure electric mode.
