Ahead Of The Official Launch, Xpeng Reveals More Details Of X9 EREV

JAKARTA - Xpeng plans to launch an environmentally friendly MPV X9 Extended Range Electric Vehicle (EREV) in the near future, and ahead of its launch, many details were shared.

Quoting from the CNevpost page, Friday, October 24, the X9 EREV will certainly combine 63.3 kWh battery packages with 60 liters of fuel tanks to produce a range of 1,602 kilometers.

These seven-passengerMPVs serve as Xpeng's global mainstay model and its first super long-range product, Xpeng wrote on the Weibo page.

Xpeng revealed why the company launched the EREV, noting that Xpeng is a global-oriented AI automotive company facing various infrastructures, customer demand, and regulatory policies in various regions.

"Companies must adopt a diverse technological approach to meet global user demand," Xpeng wrote.

MPV X9 EREV has undergone strict validation in complex environments in various countries, aiming to provide a more efficient and flexible mobility experience around the world.

As is known, by 2024 Xpeng has launched a new system called Kunpeng, which is claimed by vehicles using the system to reach a combined range of up to 1,400 kilometers and a battery range of 430 kilometers.

If it officially launches, X9 EREV will be the first in the line of the EREV Xpeng model. So will this model also be present in Indonesia? Yes, currently the brand is also present but still offers only electric variants.

If you look at Indonesia's growing automotive market, it does not rule out the possibility that the model aimed at globally is present in the Indonesian automotive market. So it's worth waiting for.
