JAKARTA Rolls-Royce officially launched the Phantom Centenary Private Collection. This car is a special edition created to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Phantom model and sprinkled with extraordinary luxury.
Reporting from Road & Track, Friday, October 24, this luxury car is only produced by 25 units worldwide. Rolls-Royce calls this project the most complex and ambitious private collection in the company's history.
More than 40 thousand hours of work are devoted by designers, engineers, and craftsmen to make this car look perfect from every corner. Visually, Phantom Centenary looks elegant with a combination of black and white colors typical of Rolls-Royce.
On the front, the Spirit of Ecstasy statue is made more special with 24 carat gold, while the base uses 16 carat gold. The Rolls-Royce logo also received a new touch in the form of white enamels and gold finishing, as well as exclusive wheels used only in this edition.
The interior features a cabin atmosphere full of luxury and historical symbols. The back seat is decorated with high resolution artwork depicting Phantom's long journey, including the early days of production at Conduit Street, London.
The interior design is done with international fashion athletes with a development process that has taken more than a year. On the front, the laser bordir features codenames from the early generations of Phantoms such as Seagull and Roger Rabbit.
The process of making art on the back seat takes more than a year and involves more than 160,000 stitches. Interestingly, the back seat is covered in cloth, not leather as a tribute to the old tradition where only the front seat is covered with skin.
The wooden panel was fabricated using a three-dimensional ink layering technique with a laser carving and 24-carat gold insertion, depicting the summer and winter home landscape of the founder Sir Henry Royce, as well as modern Phantom trips in various parts of the world.

What's interesting is the Starlight Headliner, or the typical Rolls-Royce star sky, which is embroidered and anniated with the moment of Phantom's history in 440,000 stitches. The engine room also did not escape the artistic touch.
The closure of an Arctic White with a 24-carat gold accent became a symbol of Rolls-Royce's attention to details, even in areas that were rarely seen. The engine still uses a 6.75 liter V12 with a typical Rolls-Royce capacity.
Although there has been no official announcement regarding the price, the price tag is expected to far exceed the standard Phantom price, which currently ranges from Rp19 billion to Rp23 billion, given its very limited level of personalization and production.
