BYD EMax 9 DM-i Lands In Neighboring Countries, Prices Start At IDR 700 Million

JAKARTA - BYD continues to expand its ranks of cars in the Philippines by officially launching an all-new eMax 9 DM-i, an MPV that could be the main choice as a family car.

Quoting from the PH Top Gear page, Friday, October 24, the all-new BYD eMax 9 DM-i was launched at the ongoing Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit. The model will be side by side with the Toyota Alphard and GAC M8.

By design, this environmentally friendly MPV looks very luxurious thanks to the large grid on the front, and is equipped with a silver trick with a BYD badge. From the side offers a firm line.

Behind, there is a large windshield paired with a lampbar at the back door. Then there's a small wing above and a smooth bumper below, adding to the luxurious impression of this one model.

Regarding the heartburn, eMax 9 DM-i will feature a powertrain similar to PHEV from other models, which packs a 1.5 liter turbo engine that drives the 36.6kWh BYD Blade Battery (20.4kWh in the basic variant). This arrangement powers the electric motor installed in front which produces 267 hp and 315 Nm torques.

BYD eMax 9 DM-i has a 50 liter fuel tank, and on the full and full tank, it can reach 1,000 km with a larger battery option. It also supports AC and DC charging and has Vehicle-to-Load capabilities with V2L adapters as standard.

Regarding the price, for BYD eMax 9 DM-i Advance, 2,678,000 pesos are priced or around Rp760 million, while the premium variant is at 2,998,000 pesos or Rp850 million.
